Pam Hill of the American Sewing Guild, Tucson Chapter, took us through the process of Do It Yourself Fabric Design, from the original photo to the printed fabric based on the photo. Pam has been sewing for years, everything from suits for her husband and son to prom dresses and wedding gowns for her daughters. She now combines her interests in technology and computers with sewing. Her presentation was based on one she and Nancy Cochran prepared for the Tucson ASG’s 2014 Demo Day in March. Pam also told us about the websites that offer fabric design. She went over obtaining your image, image editing, image layouts and other details of the fabric-on-demand process. Pam brought examples of fabric printed using these computer services. WE HAD A LOT OF FUN!!!
