Change regarding Membership Dues

Visiting hours for March 2016 are as follows:

Tuesday, March 8, 9:30 am-12:30pm, Sunday, March 20, 1pm-4pm

April visits will be made for individuals by request with no specific hours assigned.

Our Summer Borrowing program will be moved up a month to accommodate any one who will want to borrow for the summer.

All materials not intended to be kept for the summer will be due back April 27th at the monthly meeting. On that day and no later we will fulfill your requests for summer borrowing.

Please look for updated documents in the Library Section on the website under the Members tab. They include the new titles added for this year.

The THSG Library need replacements for lost or tattered Magazines. Please peruse this list to see if there is anything that you can donate:

Magazine Issues Needing Replacement

The THSG Library is adopting a new policy with regard to delinquent returns.

Materials other than those designated Ref (reference) in the guild library’s catalog are borrowed for one month. If the item has not been reserved by another member, renewals for an additional month are granted by telephone, or by email through This is to be done BEFORE the due date. Provide the classification number found on the spine of the book, or on the cover of the CD/DVD. For magazines you should provide the publication’s name, the month(‘s), and the year. A late fee of 50 cents per day will be collected for those items not returned on time.

If an item is not returned after three months beyond the due date, it is expected that a sum of the replacement value plus postage be paid by the borrower. Missing magazines will be assigned one value, that of $5.00. In all instances this money will be refunded should the missing item be found.

Please note that some items are out of print and cannot be replaced easily or at all. It is up to the borrower to treat these items as if they were your personal property
