Amerind Museum Navajo Weaving Workshop

Amerind Museum is hosting a Navajo Weaving Workshop with Barbara Teller Ornelas and Lynda Teller Pete on Nov. 31-Oct. 4, with an additional day, Oct. 5, scheduled for an optional class on warping. Lodging (double occupancy) and meals/snacks, as well as all the tools and materials (except for $25-25 for different colors of wool you will select for your piece) are included in the fee of $1,000 + $40 membership to the Amerind. Add $225 for the class on warping and room and meals. This will be the 2nd weaving workshop at the Amerind. References and info are available from the previous participants – just ask. Barbara and Lynda are incredible teachers and alot of fun as well.
They promise you’ll go home with a 12.5″ x 16.5″ rug. For beginners
