The Tapestry Study Group welcomes all skill levels. The group’s purpose is to encourage and support members in their tapestry weaving endeavors. The group selects an annual project. Each member is encouraged to participate; however, participation is voluntary.
Past projects have included the interpretation of a theme, the study of various tapestry techniques, design elements, and color explorations. Participating members share insights and work examples at the monthly meeting. These discussions are as informal or formal as the member desires.
The Tapestry Study Group meets on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the modular classroom at the U of AZ Ag Campus, September through May.
The 2016-17 topic of study is transparency techniques in tapestry weaving.
All are welcome to attend. For additional information contact Maddie at email@example.com.
