Materials Fee: $20    Includes all fibers to be used in the workshop

Level: Novice to any spinner needing a refresher course

Maximum number of students: 10

Hands to spindles to wheels, from the first thread to plied yarns, this class will take you through the basics of spinning. Once you have yarn we will continue to learn about spinning wheels, spindles, fibers, plying, finishing and using your handspun yarn.

Equipment you will need for this workshop: Spinning wheel with extra bobbins, spindle, niddy noddy, lazy kate and any additional accessories you wish to bring. The equipment can be purchased or rented locally and some may be available for loan. If you need help in obtaining any of these items, contact workshops@thsg.org  in advance of the workshop.
